It’s now open to the public and I wanted to share with you the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale best items in stock. I won’t be doing many posts on the sale between now and when it closes August 6th (unless you request it!), but since it’s the first day of the public sale I wanted to round up my picks and share what many of the items look like on. For reference, I am 5’4.5″ and wear a size 4 in jeans and S in tops unless noted otherwise below :).
As I mentioned in my post here, what makes the sale different from any other is that new items are temporarily marked down and go back to full price August 7th. It’s as opportunity to get quality jackets, boots, sweaters, scarves and other Fall staples at really good prices.
All right, let’s get to to goodies. Below are my take on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale best items 🙂
Sweaters and Jackets
One of my favorite sweaters from the sale is this this BP Ruffle Bell Cuff Sweater ($32 now, $49 after sale and can also be worn to the office). My Sam Edelman boots I got last year, but there’s an almost identical pair this year here ($150 now, $225 after sale).
Another amazing item is this suede jacket ($126 now, $188 after sale). It’s been my ride-or-die leather jacket since getting it last year and the only difference this year is the absence of the bottom decorative belt.
This Lush top ($32 now, $49 after sale) is one of my favorite purchases from the sale. I love that it can be worn casually but is equally appropriate for work. Ruffles and bell sleeves are big trends for this Fall and I adore how they are interpreted in this top.
I also swooned over this Leith satin off shoulder top ($39 now, $59 after sale). I think mustard yellow is going to be big this Fall and it’s a fun way to incorporate this trend (it also comes in black and plum).
Dresses and Rompers
I posted this romper last week ($36 now, $55 after the sale) and you all seemed to really like it! I’m personally obsessed 😉 I was been on the hunt for the perfect romper all Summer until I found it. This romper does run a little small, so I sized up to medium.
I love leopard print accessories so when I saw this scarf ($12 now, $19 after the sale) I had to get it. I styled it below for an early Fall look…just add a light wash denim jacket when the temps cool down.
I also feel for these rose gold BaubleBar earrings ($32 now, $48 after the sale) and am wearing them in the photo with the white dotted top. Another accessory I was tempted by was this leopard print clutch ($53 now, $80 after the sale) and I would have gotten it I did not just get a leopard print clutch in May. 🙂 It’s a dupe for the Clare V leopard print clutch.
I’m smitten with these Louise et Cie bow mules ($85 now, $130 after the sale). Bow mules have been HUGE this year but I struggled to find a pair where the bow was not overpowering. Because the bow is vertical instead of horizontal it’s a lot more proportionate.
Several of the tops and sweaters above could double as work wear, but I’ve included a few items above that are especially great work pieces. I’m really happy that Vince Camuto has some great work-appropriate picks included in the sale.
Beauty and Hair Care
When I talked about hair care here, I stressed the need for high quality hair tools. They are an investment you won’t regret! I love T3 styling tools and have their dryer as well as curling wand. Their dryer is included in this sale, as is one of their straightening irons.
That’s a wrap! If you see something in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that you like but it’s out of stock, check back periodically as items are restocked from time to time. And feel free to give me a shout if you have any questions!
